Defending champions, the Blues, are looking for a repeat of last season's grand final sell-out at Eden Park when they host runners-up and local rivals, the Chiefs, on February 15.
Pricing incentives have been made available for Eden Park's East Stand with tickets at $20 for adults and $10 for children.
Blues chief executive Andrew Hore said the offer was an acknowledgement of support the side received during their successful 2024 campaign.
"It gives those fans who missed out on Grand Final tickets a chance to see the rematch."
Coach Vern Cotter said having another full house for the season's opening game would be great.
"We know they'll [the Chiefs] be out for revenge but we're here to defend our home turf and start our season on the right foot.
"We've seen our boys come back with real intent around their pre-season training and you can feel the desire to go the whole way once again in 2025."
The Chiefs have announced a return to Mt Maunganui, where they will host the Force for their Anzac Day game.
The game will be played at the Bay Oval, better known for its use as a Test cricket ground.
Chiefs coach Clayton McMillan said, "It's great to bring Super Rugby back to my home region and know that our fans will appreciate the opportunity to see the team play in their backyard at this premier sports ground."
Chiefs chief executive Simon Graafhuis said the decision reflected the organisation's desire to play games in its regions.
"It is an important part of the Chiefs' region from a fan standpoint, and many of our commercial partners have a strong presence in the area, so are supportive of this event."
The Highlanders go into the season with a new shareholder, Charles Gibbon, an Otago-Southland region-born businessman based in Australia. He has a background in investment banking, private equity, and venture capital and was an investor in WiseTech Global, a leading Australian software company.
Gibbon said, "The Highlanders are more than just a rugby team; they're a symbol of their community's spirit and resilience.
"I believe in the potential of this region, and I'm excited to play a role in helping the Highlanders continue to grow and succeed. We have an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the community, and I'm eager to be part of that journey."
Highlanders chairman Peter Kean said, "We are thrilled to have someone with Charles' business acumen and connection to Otago-Southland join the Highlanders ownership group.
"His long-standing ties to our region make him an ideal partner. We're confident that his insights and commitment will help take the Highlanders to new heights, both in terms of on-field performance and broader commercial success."
