How to watch the rugby
To stream Rugby World Cup 2019 on Spark Sport, you’ll need three things:

  • A good internet connection
  • Smart technology (Smart TV, phone, tablet, laptop etc.); and 
  • A Tournament Pass

Otherwise, to get started:

1. Sign up: Head to sparksport.co.nz on your mobile, tablet, or computer using a Chrome, Firefox or Safari browser. Then click ‘Sign up’ in the top righthand corner. You’ll need to set up an account by giving us some basic information, like your name, email, phone number, address and credit card details.

 

2. Email confirmation: Once you’ve signed up, you’ll get an email from us to confirm your subscription has started. Click the link in the email if you want to start watching in your browser, or follow steps 3 and 4 to download the app and log in from a preferred device.

 

3. Download the app: Head to the App Store on your preferred device, search for ‘Spark Sport’ and hit download.

 

4. Log in: Once it’s downloaded, open the app, log in with the same details you used to sign up and start watching. Make sure that once you have your Tournament pass you go and try out the content now to test your connections and make sure you have no issues on the big day.

 

REMEMBER: Since Spark Sport is an internet streaming service, if you're watching on your phone and you're not on a Wifi network, you will be using your phone's data plan allowance.
