Tana Tuhakaraina is new to the Māori All Blacks in 2024 and was rewarded for his consistency over consecutive seasons in the Bunnings Warehouse NPC competition with Waikato.
Training with the Chiefs as a replacement player this year, Tuhakaraina impressed as an extremely instinctive rugby player who understands the game well. The Tuhakaraina’s are a prominent family in the Matamata region and he proudly represents United Matamata Sports Club.
