BIOGRAPHY
Out of the Lincoln University rugby club, Rameka Poihipi made his Māori All Blacks debut off the bench against Moana Pasifika in 2020.
He was the captain of the Hamilton Boys first XV in 2016 and led them to victory in the Chiefs Cup. In 2018, Poihipi made his Mitre 10 Cup debut for Canterbury and his Crusaders debut.
After spending time with Clayton McMillan in the Māori All Blacks, Poihipi returned north to join the Chiefs in 2021 to debut against the Hurricanes.
During the 2023 season, Poihipi scored the fastest try in Super Rugby history when he crossed the line just nine seconds after kick-off against Moana Pasifika.
