BIOGRAPHY
Joe Moody impressed during his debut season for the Crusaders in 2013, earning a call up to the All Blacks end of year tour. It wasn’t until 2014 when the prop made his All Blacks debut.
Although he missed out on initial selection in the 2015 Rugby World Cup squad, injuries to both Tony Woodcock and Wyatt Crockett saw him called into the team and he fronted with the best of them. In 2020, he played his 50th All Blacks Test.
A former rugby league junior and New Zealand wrestling representative, Joe won a junior Commonwealth Games bronze medal and competed at the world junior championships.
He became the 19th Crusader to play 100 games for the club in April 2021, and 2022 will be his 10th season of Super Rugby with the Crusaders.
