Hazel Tubic

Hazel Tubic made a welcome return to the Black Ferns in 2016, appearing in four matches.

Tubic had been in the thick of things for the Counties Manukau Heat in 2016, making a huge contribution with the boot as the Heat won the inaugural Farah Palmer Cup.

Tubic made her Black Ferns debut in England in 2011, and last played for the side in 2012, having concentrated since then on the shorter form of the game. A very versatile player, who matches experience with enthusiasm, Tubic played at fullback and handled kicking duties for the Heat, but when playing for the Black Ferns Sevens appeared in the forwards.
