Hurricanes squad for South Africa

While injury has plagued the Hurricanes in recent weeks, coach Mark Hammett has named a strong squad to take on the physical South Africans.

With a 16 to 11 forward-back split, Hammett has given wider training group member Adam Hill the nod in the loose forward department, while newcomer Brendon Edmonds will also travel, along with fellow prop Chris Eves.

Captain Conrad Smith will lead an experienced backline that also includes Cardiff Vaega and Marty Banks, who will grab their first taste of Super Rugby in South Africa.
