Mid Canterbury's position at the top of the table was confirmed with a convincing 31-13 win over Lochore Cup champions Buller in Westport.
While Buller will have a chance to defend their Cup, Meads Cup champions East Coast will concede their title, struggling this campaign with just two wins.
