Andrew Flexman new Chiefs CEO

The 39-year-old spent five years as the CEO of the New Zealand Rugby Foundation that provided assistance to players and their families who suffered a life-changing injury playing rugby.
Flexman is a former Counties Manukau Rugby Board Member and a qualified lawyer who specialized in employment law and civil litigation for eight years in firms in New Zealand and abroad.
The rugby enthusiast grew up in Chiefs country in Mangatawhiri and is thrilled about his new position.
”The organisation is incredibly well positioned and I am looking forward to the opportunity to build on the foundations that have already been laid,” said Flexman.
Chiefs’ Chairman Dallas Fisher said “We believe Andrew is the person to lead us to the next level of our goals for our world class organisation.”
He has a powerful mix of rugby administration, business accruement and legal training which will be highly valuable in the role and will help us expand and develop our organisation.”
The father of three will move to Hamilton at the conclusion of the 2013 ITM Cup. His wife Sarah-Jane and children will follow at the end of the school year.
