He played in Wellington last year in Argentina's first Investec Rugby Championship clash with the All Blacks but was still delighted to have yet another chance in Saturday's Test at Hamilton's Waikato Stadium.

It had been a poor start to the side's second season in the Championship with their hiding in Soweto by South Africa and the players knew they were capable of much better.

"Now we are trying to build a team to get better and we have a massive opportunity on Saturday so we are going to try to take it," he said.

Agulla said the side had not been mentally prepared for the opening game of this year's series. That had nothing to do with the coaches, it was the players who had let things down.

"Mendoza was a totally different game," he said of the much closer contest in their second outing.

While it was difficult to mould a team when players were returning from Europe and trying to blend with home grown players, it was also something that they were used to.

But it was also difficult getting used to different systems that were required in such a short period of time.

Agulla said his memory of the effort in Wellington last year was the strength of the Pumas' defence. He also thought the poor weather in Wellington had been a help.

The key this time around would be for everyone in the side to play at 100 percent and to make as few mistakes as possible.

"Every mistake you make against the All Blacks they transform it into points so we will have to be perfect," he said.
