Chiefs clean bill of health before South Africa safari

Aki left the field during the Chiefs victory over the Cheetahs this weekend after an accidental collision had him on the deck writhing in pain.
While it was suspected that initially the injury was just deep tissue bruising, such a concern is a major problem on long haul flights, but the wonderfully named centre walked off the field with minimal assistance, and will be considered for selection this weekend.
Andrew Horrell and Ross Filipo will also travel with the squad, likely to face the Stormers, but considering the Chiefs blistering start to the season, they may not be risked against the South African Conference champions and play against the Kings in a fortnight.
