That All Blacks side from last week, whose changes reached double figures, was considered second string by some, while All Blacks head coach Steve Hansen stood true to his word to ensure that the first two Test matches of the Air New Zealand End of Year Tour would involve all members of the touring squad.
It appears that Hansen has kept another promise, to name his most potent side when facing Six Nations champions Wales.
The All Blacks team features 746 Test caps, still shy of the New Zealand record of 766, set in 2011 when playing the Springboks.
There are 504 Test caps in the Welsh run on team.
Five All Blacks – Richie McCaw, Tony Woodcock, Andrew Hore, Dan Carter and Ma’a Nonu - boast over 70 Test caps, with only Mike Phillips with 71 international appearances boasting more.
Three All Blacks in captain McCaw, Carter and Woodcock are among the five most experienced New Zealand Test players of all time.
