Italy to field the most experienced team in Europe

Italy's starting side will field 660 caps, boasting more international appearances than any other team, with the World Champions fielding a 533 cap run on outfit, with over 100 matches missing due to the absence of captain Richie McCaw.

Six of the Italians have more than 50 test caps, while five of the players than feature in the starting XV are in the top seven most capped Azzurri of all time.

The side is considered the most powerful that Brunel can name.

There are double changes to the wings, with Giovambattista Venditti and Mirco Bergamasco coming into the team, while Luciano Orquera and Edoardo Gori will run the backline for the home team.

Captain Sergio Parisse and Martin Castrogiovanni will earn their 90th test caps.
