Stacey Waaka

Stacey Waaka's is a tall, fast, evasive back that excells in boths sevens and 15s. She was first selected in the Black Ferns Sevens team in 2016, and in 2017 won the World CUp with the Black Ferns.  A natural athlete, Waaka has also represented New Zealand in touch rugby and at provincial level in netball, hockey and athletics. She is studying for a Bachelor of Sport and Leisure Studies at Waikato University.

Earliest rugby memory: Making my debut at 15 for Whakatane High School and scoring five tries.
