Scott Curry

Career notes:

All Blacks Sevens (2010 - present)
Manawatu Turbos (2012)
Manawatu development (2010, 2009)
Manawatu Under 20 (2008)

With legendary All Black back Jeff Wilson as your rugby hero, it’s clear Curry’s aim is to carve up the opposition. He got his big break in the Manawatu in the same environment that produced sevens maestro Tomasi Cama. With strength and pace, he has been a key player for the team since his debut in 2010 in Dubai though injury has robbed him of game time in 2012/13 including a spot in the World Cup side. He will be looking to make up for that disappointment in Glasgow and comes into the Games in top form having been named in the IRB Sevens Dream Team this season.
