Jonah Lowe

22 YEAR OLD JONAH LOWE has been turning heads since his King’s College First XV days, moving up the ranks through age-grade rugby to his debut for the Hurricanes this year against the Crusaders.

Lowe can play at both centre and wing and is known for his try scoring ability, scoring 52 points in 24 games for the Hawkes Bay Magpies in the Mitre 10 Cup. In 2016 he was awarded the Magpies Back of the Year award and represented the U20s at the World Championships in Manchester.

Lowe first joined the Hurricanes in 2017 and impressed the coaching team during preseason with a hattrick in their 43-22 pre-season win over the Crusaders, before making more strong appearances at
