Tom Franklin

Tom Franklin earned a call-up to the Maori All Blacks in 2014 after a series of impressive performances for Otago. A shade under 2m tall, he is a promising lock noted for his attacking abilities with ball in hand.

Born in Opotiki, in the Bay of Plenty, Franklin was part of the Junior World Championship-winning New Zealand Under 20 side in 2010. He was an important contributor to the Highlanders in 2014 under Maori All Blacks legend and former Coach Jamie Joseph, in what was his first season with the Investec Super Rugby team.
