Honey Hireme

Honey Hireme  is one of Waikato's most experienced players in the Women's Provincial Championship. She has a strong defensive game but it's her skills on attack - including a fantastic offload and a remarkable ability to see a gap - that earned her selection.

Fondly nicknamed "Honey Bill Williams", Hireme joined the Black Ferns for the first time during the 2014 International Women's Rugby Series after outstanding form with the New Zealand Women's Sevens team, with which she won the Women's Rugby World Cup Sevens in Moscow in 2013. She played in eight of the Black Ferns' nine 2014 Tests and scored eight tries, including four against the USA at the Women's Rugby World Cup in France.

The proud mother of three has arguably the best fend in the game, a fantastic offload, and a remarkable ability to see a gap.
