Sarah Goss

The 23-year-old former Fielding High School student and competitive shearer from the Manawatu captains the New Zealand Women’s Sevens. She was an integral member of the team who won the 2013 Women's Rugby World Cup Sevens in Moscow and has won back to back titles with Manawatu Sevens. A regular member of the team since the new look sevens side formed in 2012, she leads from the front, as demonstrated recently when she scored a winning try at the Dubai Sevens through the pain of a broken finger. Her favourite sporting hero is footballer David Beckham and she has aspirations to be a pilot.
