Kayla McAlister

New Zealand Women's Sevens (2012 - present)

The Mystics netball convert comes from great rugby stock, and like her brother former All Black Luke, Kayla McAlister has a mean step and pace that has seen become a key member of the side. In her first year in the new look side she ran up 16 tries during the 2012/13 World Series – the third highest for World Rugby's inaugural competition.  Her stand-out form saw her named Sevens Player of the Year for that season.
