Eloise Blackwell

An experienced campaigner, the impressive Eloise Blackwell has established herself as a vital part of the Black Ferns lineout.

She was an important weapon for the Black Ferns' International Women's Rugby Series and Women's Rugby World Cup campaigns, featuring in eight of their nine Tests.

Originally from Great Barrier Island, a move to the Ponsonby Club - the rugby starting point for many great New Zealand players - provided a catalyst for an impressive career in the Auckland colours.  Although still young by international rugby standards, Blackwell already has some useful experience having made her first class debut in 2009 as an 18-year-old.
