An exciting young lock, Patrick Tuipulotu made his Test debut in the Steinlager Series in June 2014 after an outstanding debut Investec Super Rugby season, a wonderful achievement for the tall, quietly-spoken man who has thrilled rugby fans with his physicality and aerial skills.
Tuipulotu is the most recent All Black to come from the notable Ponsonby club in Auckland – he has been playing for ‘The Ponies’ (as club-members are known) since he was at primary school. He is the first of the 2013 New Zealand Under 20 side to be named as a full member of the All Blacks squad.
