Honey Hireme

Honey Hireme has a strong defensive game but it’s her skills on attack - including a fantastic offload – and representative experience that ensure her regular selection. The powerful midfield back scored five tries in three Tests during last year’s International Sevens Series.

Fondly nicknamed “Honey Bill Williams”, Hireme joined the Black Ferns for the first time in 2014 after outstanding form with the Black Ferns Sevens team, with which she won the Women’s Rugby World Cup Sevens in 2013. She played in eight of the Black Ferns’ nine 2014 Tests and scored eight tries.

The proud mother of one has arguably the best fend in the game, a fantastic offload, and a remarkable ability to see a gap.
