Huriana Manuel

The Black Fern and daughter of former Black Fern Liz Mihinui, Manuel has been a regular member of the team since the new look sevens side was formed in 2012 under coach Sean Horan. He named her the team's new captain. She took the side to the inaugural World Series title and World Champion's titles in 2013, adding to her two Women's Rugby World Cup wins with the Black Ferns. Injury robbed her of game time in 2015, but she has stormed back in 2016 to book her place for Rio.
