NGAPUHI IWI MEMBER, Elliot Dixon re-joins the Maori All Blacks for the first time since the DHL New Zealand Lions Series in 2017.
After debuting in 2013 and making further appearances on the 2014 tour to Japan and 2015 campaign, Dixon is one of the most experienced members of the squad.
Impressive, uncompromising form for the Highlanders in Investec Super Rugby season saw him earn his first selection in an All Blacks squad in 2016. Originally from Christchurch and a Southland Stag for provincial rugby, Dixon made his debut in front of his adopted home crowd, in Dunedin.
This year Dixon became the eighth Highlander to reach a century of Investec Super Rugby matches, highlighting his consistency and commitment to the southern-most club
Dixon is another former New Zealand age grade player to be involved in the Maori All Blacks: he was part of the New Zealand Under 20 side that won the Junior World Championship in Tokyo in 2009.
