Habana underwent a medical check after complaining of dizziness following the Springboks' 21-20 win in Rustenburg.

Natal Sharks utility backs JP Pietersen and Brent Russell have both been called into the squad which faces the Australians in the final Philips Tri-Nations clash of the year after strong performances during the 2006 Super 14 season.

Russell has played 23 Tests for the South Africans, while Pietersen is yet to make his Test debut.

Springboks coach Jake White also suggested he will move Jaque Fourie back into the centres from fullback because he wants to try other players in the No 15 jersey.

"I think Jaque performed satisfactorily but I know he prefers playing at centre because it is closer to the action," White was quoted on News24.com.

"Percy Montgomery will certainly be considered again but I feel we should rather continue our search for a successor."

"The fullback against the Wallabies does not necessarily have to come from the current Tri-nations squad. Maybe we'll call up someone from outside, maybe we stick with Jaque and maybe we have another option within the squad."

Both sides will name their sides for the clash on Wednesday
