Playing in Brisbane, Australia, New Zealand Schools’ had a dominant 54-0 win over Tonga Schools’.

The New Zealand Barbarians Schools’ team were beaten late in the game by a tenacious New Zealand Under 18 Maori team in Wellington.  

The Barbarians Schools’ team lead throughout the match but a late converted try to the Under 18 Maori side sealed the 20-21 result.

Both teams play again on Monday. New Zealand Schools’ face Australian Schools’ Barbarians in Brisbane, while the New Zealand Barbarians Schools’ play Fiji Schools in Wellington.
