After being stunned by Canterbury last weekend, Auckland open round five with a clash against neighbours North Harbour in Albany on Friday evening. The clash will mark Fiao'o Fa'amausili’s 100th game for Auckland and is televised live on Sky Sport channel 51 from 5pm. It will be the first time the sides have met since 2000.

QUICK TAP: WORLD CUP WINNING BLACK FERNS CELEBRATED

Wellington lie at third on the Premiership ladder and can take a big stride towards securing a playoff spot when they take on Otago in a cross over match in Dunedin on Saturday.

Hawke’s Bay will be hoping to get their first win of the season when they host Manawatu at Tremain Field. But it won’t come easy against a Manawatu side gunning for a spot in the Premiership playoffs.

In a match live streamed on the Black Ferns facebook page at 2.45pm on Saturday, Waikato will host Championship high flyers Bay of Plenty. Last season Waikato dispatched Bay of Plenty 32-3 but the Volcanix have been in hot form this year with three wins from four matches.

The weekend is rounded out on Saturday afternoon when Canterbury host Tasman in Christchurch.
