Women's Sevens Series concludes in Taupo     17 Nov 2014

New Zealand’s top women sevens players took to the playoffs with their usual flair, with no team having it all their own way.

Lower North Kowhai and Northern Kauri continued their dominance of the tournament and faced off in the final. It was a tense battle with both teams putting in stellar performances but ultimately Northern Kauri’s accuracy and consistency saw them emerge as the winners of the Women’s Sevens Series.

The tournament provided an excellent platform for building and strengthening women’s sevens rugby, with all five teams playing exciting rugby over two lively weekends of competition.
