Team doctors revealed that Crotty has been ruled out with a broken jaw, and will miss at least four weeks of rugby.

This scratches Crotty out for the All Blacks home Tests against Argentina and South Africa in the coming weeks.

However Ma'a Nonu is expected to be fit to play against Los Pumas in Napier on September 6.

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen said it was a shame after Crotty's performance in Auckland.

"He's cracked a bone in the top of his jaw," he said.

"He's out for four weeks. He's got no displacement but it's really unfortunate for him."
