With just two competition points separating New Zealand and Australia (who were victorious against France 24-5), the opening games of the final leg of the second Women’s Sevens Series are indicative to continued drama.

Carla Hohepa and Kayla McAlister both scored a brace of tries in the win against the Americans.

Canada, placed third in the overall series standings, defeated Brazil 28-0, while England won against the host nation Netherlands 36-5.

The ‘Sisters’ play Ireland and Spain to round out their pool.

Spain defeated the Irish Women 19-14 in the other group A match.
