The three-time champions from Pretoria will arrive in New Zealand later this week after seeing their match winning lead against the Chiefs slip away, while the Hurricanes will be looking to claim their third fixture of the season – and potentially give the team three wins from their last four.

Despite the growing form of Jack Lam, Faifili Levave and Ardie Savea – World Cup winning flanker Victor Vito and Brad Shields will be available for selection this week.

Prop Reggies Goodes will also be back in contention, giving Hammett plenty to think about prior to the arrival of the forward focused Bulls.

Centre Tim Bateman however is in doubt to play in Napier after injuring his shoulder in the first half.

Hadleigh Parkes and Alapati Leiua are options to potentially slot in if Bateman is ruled out, with Leiua a candidate for the midfield if Cory Jane makes a starting return to team up with Julian Savea.

The Bulls have won their last four against the Hurricanes, including a 26-14 win in Napier in 2011.
