England’s 38-21 win over New Zealand last December denied the All Blacks from equalling their record of 17 consecutive wins which they achieved between 1965 and 1969.

The largest margin of victory in this fixture came in June 1998. New Zealand came out 64-22 victors in Dunedin.

Sam Whitelock wins his 50th Test cap for New Zealand this weekend. He made his debut in a 66-28 win against Ireland in 2010.

If New Zealand lose to England on Saturday it will be the first time they have lost two consecutive matches against an opponent since 2009 when they lost to South Africa three times in a row.

Kieran Read wins his 60th Test cap for New Zealand against England on Saturday. He made his debut in a 32-6 win against Scotland in 2008.

New Zealand field a very experienced starting XV with a total of 842 caps compared to England’s total of 314.

Keven Mealamu will be the oldest player on the pitch at the age of 34.

New Zealand only have one player with less than ten caps in Charles Piutau.

Under coach Steve Hansen, the All Blacks have won 24, lost one and drawn one since he took charge in 2012.
