The All Blacks arrived in England via Eurostar, and have already settled down in London, putting in a gym session while taking part in media conferences that have the number of microphones and cameras at Rugby World Cup levels.

Romano, who missed The Investec Rugby Championship with a groin injury, could force his way onto the bench.

Savea missed last week's Test with illness and will be involved in a selection shoot out with Wellington team-mate Cory Jane.

With an advance party sent to France, there has been a careful plan to ensure the All Blacks are ready to go.

"From a physical point of view I think we're in great shape," Hansen said.

"Mentally I think we're in great shape (as well), there is a massive desire within the group to strive to keep improving themselves.

"We had 12 of our 15 having their first game for three weeks (in Paris)."
