- Tickets for second Test in Christchurch on sale 9am Monday

Canterbury fans are urged to act fast to secure tickets for the second All Blacks v France Test in Christchurch with sales for the other Tests showing strong fan interest in the 2013 Steinlager Series.

Tickets for the 15 June clash at AMI Stadium (Addington) in Christchurch go on sale tomorrow at 9am.

32,000 tickets have already been sold for the opening Test of the series at Eden Park on 8 June where the All Blacks take on France for the first time since that nail biting Rugby World Cup 2011 Final.

There are only 5,000 tickets left for the third Test at Yarrow Stadium in New Plymouth on 22 June as Taranaki fans snap up the chance to see the All Blacks for the first time since 2010 when they packed Yarrow Stadium for the match-up with Ireland.

“The 2013 Steinlager Series has clearly got fans pretty excited a long way out,” said New Zealand Rugby Chief Executive Steve Tew.

“We are well ahead of where we expected to be with five weeks to the series opener at Eden Park. It’s also great to see so many Taranaki fans booking their place early.”

Last year’s second Test of the 2012 Steinlager Series against Ireland in Christchurch sold out quickly so fans are urged not to delay with just 11,000 tickets available for public sales.

“If you want to be up close and see two sides that share such a rich and dramatic history, then move fast to secure the seats you want," said Tew.

Tickets to the 2013 Steinlager Series can be purchased for as low as $110 for a family of four in Taranaki or $140 in Auckland and Christchurch.

Tickets are also on sale for the historic encounter on 11 June when France plays the Blues at North Harbour Stadium in the adidas Challenge. This is the first time an international touring side has played against an Investec Super Rugby franchise and kicks off at 7.05pm.

The All Blacks Squad for the 2013 Steinlager Series will be announced on Sunday 2 June.

Tickets for the Investec Rugby Championship go on sale in early July.
