Highlanders call up veterans, likely to field Nonu

Hore suffered rib cartilage damage and will be out for at least three to four weeks, although the news was better for Mitchell, with the initially feared broken collarbone only dislocated.
Brew, a former New Zealand Maori and Otago back who played in England and Japan, will lineup for the Highlanders development team tonight, and is to cover the midfield.
Tamati Ellison is out with a shoulder injury for at least a couple of months, while Shaun Treeby is still missing with his hamstring complaint.
The positive news for the Highlanders is that blockbusting centre Ma'a Nonu should be selected to play the Chiefs.
The captaincy situation is still to be confirmed for the Highlanders as well, with Brad Thorn taking over the running of the side despite Hosea Gear being the vice-captain in their narrow loss to the Hurricanes.
