Only 900 tickets left for Hamilton Springboks Test

The tickets are available in the standing room only area of Greenzone. Tickets are $40 in this area.

The public are encouraged to get in quick to secure tickets to the match. It is the first time an All Blacks v Springboks match has been played in Hamilton.

Tickets are on sale via, Gate One Waikato Stadium and 0800-466-665 (option 3), and the via the usual Ticketek outlets listed on the Waikato website.

Waikato Stadium had its capacity boosted to 31,500 for this match due to the installment of a temporary stand at the Tristram St end of the ground.

Meanwhile, there are only three hospitality packages left to purchase for this game. These are on sale via the Waikato Rugby Union.

All Blacks Public Training in Hamilton

The All Blacks will be holding a public training session at Waikato Stadium next month as a lead up to the Investec Tri-Nations test match in Hamilton.

Date: Monday 7 September, 2009
Time: 11.00am – 12.30pm
Venue: Waikato Stadium, Hamilton

The training is open to all members of the public, including schools, sports groups, and community groups.

The All Blacks will conduct a training run during the morning and conclude with an autograph session. All Blacks players will go around the perimeter of Waikato Stadium signing autographs.

Temporary Stand Construction

The temporary stand to be used for the All Blacks v Springboks Investec Tri Nations Test match is currently under construction at Waikato Stadium.

From now until Thursday 3 September partial road closure on the area of corner of Tristram and Abbotsford Streets is in place.

From Friday 4 September until Wednesday 16 September full road closure will occur in this block with entry via Mill St or Willoughby St restricted only to residents and businesses in the area.

Then from Thursday 17 September until Monday 28th September partial road closure will take place while the temporary stand is taken down.
